Thackeray Street Residence

Elwood | Victoria

2011

Thackeray street residence, a renovation of an existing dwelling maximising on it's potential and improving on what was. It is important in the interior design to predominantly use light colours, with the forms themselves creating features. The house itself thus becomes a blank canvas to complement furniture and fittings, including lighting, furniture, paintings and decorative elements as colourful focal points. Feature elements are better created through forms and the use of materials, rather than colour combinations.
